Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a physical, 190 to 230-micron thick urethane armor that absorbs kinetic energy from flying road gravel, stone chips, keys, and door dings. Ceramic coating is a microscopic chemical quartz layer (1–2 microns) that provides chemical and hydrophobic slickness but cannot prevent rock chips or scratches. AXELL PPF combines both worlds by infusing ceramic and fluoropolymer slickness directly onto our self-healing TPU.

AXELL films feature an elastomeric polymer topcoat with shape-memory characteristics. When swirl marks or light abrasions disturb the surface, introducing moderate thermal energy (direct sunlight, warm engine heat, or warm water above 35°C / 95°F) relaxes the polymer chains back into their original smooth structure, erasing the mark completely.

Yes. AXELL utilizes high-grade pressure-sensitive acrylic (PSA) adhesives engineered with balanced rheology. When removed by trained technicians using controlled steam, the film pulls off cleanly without pulling up factory clear coats or leaving behind sticky, difficult residue.

All AXELL PPF products are warranted by the manufacturer against yellowing, cracking, bubbling, blistering, delamination, and premature optical failure under normal atmospheric operating conditions when installed by an accredited installer.

Allow 72 hours for initial moisture curing before the first wash. After that, wash with pH-neutral automotive shampoo. If using a pressure washer, maintain a distance of at least 30 cm (12 inches) and avoid aiming directly at panel edge seams. Avoid petroleum-based solvents and harsh abrasive rubbing compounds.
